e107 CMS Bootstrap 5 Theme Styling Guide

Welcome to this custom made Bootstrap 5  Kit. This plugin was built with permission from the author of Bootstrap 5 Learning Kit, which was specifically created for the online course Master Bootstrap 5 by Frontend Workshop.

This kit consists of the following three sections:

• Reference

  This section features all the examples complete with code with syntax highlighting, copy-to-clipboard functionality, and direct export to CodePen. This is the original Learning Kit from the course above. Just e107 footer functionality was added. And  24 columns grid was added as a preview. 

• Theme

  This section displays reference content with the selected e107 theme. It includes the e107 header and footer, so bootstrap classes are displayed with actual e107 styling. You can switch between reference and themed content, with skinchange plugin you can switch between themes without changing the frontend theme. Sometimes there is a shortcode as a replacement for the menu manager.

• At this time, there are listed e107 menus  Some menus are by default displayed only for members. Standard menus (blocks) are displayed in 2 areas - sidebar and footer (because they can have different backgrounds and they need different styling). This area is in development. I am trying to figure out how they should work...
