eFiction CMS got a new maintainer and it looks good for now. They returned back to version 3 (the same decision as I made) and they will continue with support.
Regards e107 part - they will still work together, I just stopped the work on the separate e107 efiction plugin. We moved urgently needed stuff to e107+Nuke and it is not needed anymore. For the time being.
To finish this plugin I needed some sample data and nobody wanted to help.
Just note: user Bepo2902 is familiar with efiction too.
